1. Registration Fees

For the first time the ESHG Conference will be held as a hybrid conference. This will allow participants to participate physically and/or online. Please find below the different registration options:

• Physical participation (including online access)
• Online-only participation

     a) Physical Participation

Includes physical participation in the conference venue in Glasgow AND online access to the virtual conference platform.

Become a member of the ESHG and save on your conference registration fee!
If you become a member of the ESHG, you can benefit of the reduced conference registration fees for members.

² Applies to Master/PhD students working towards a degree in human genetics or an associated field. Please provide a confirmation signed by the head of department at the moment of your registration.

When registering for the conference, you will have to agree to the General Terms & Conditions for participants.

     b) Online-Only Participation

Includes online access to the virtual conference platform but NO physical participation in the conference venue in Glasgow.

2. What is covered by the registration fee?

Physical participation

• Admission to all scientific sessions, exhibition and networking mixer
• Electronic abstract book and programme
• Coffee/tea during breaks from Saturday, June 12 to Tuesday, June 15, 2021
• Online access to the virtual conference platform during the conference and access to on-demand content until 2 months after the conference

Online-only participation

• Access to live-streamed sessions through the virtual conference platform
• Access to on-demand sessions through the virtual conference platform until 2 months after the conference
• Access through the virtual platform to corporate satellites and the company corner page, if available.

3. Payment modalities

Payment of registration fees, may be made in EURO by:

• Credit Card: Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club.
• Bank Transfer to the conference account  until May 23, 2021.
  Payments need to be made without charges to the beneficiary. Clearly state the registration number, invoice number and participant’s name when processing the transaction.

Important: The reduced registration fee is only applicable if it has also been paid to the congress account before the according deadlines.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail  to the Congress Office: conference@eshg.org
Registration fees may be refunded if written cancellation has been received as follows:

The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the congress office is received. In the case of over-payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing and sent to the congress office by e-mail. No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the conference organisers. No exceptions to the refund policy can be made, including health or family issues. By registering to the ESHG 2021, participants agree that neither the organising committee nor the congress office assume any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance, the conference fee does not include insurance.

If you are a member of the press, please send a request and scan of your valid Press-ID to: conference@eshg.org
Once your request has been confirmed, we will send you the respective link for your online registration.

7. Accompanying Persons

Based on European compliance regulations, the ESHG Conference is only accessible to professionals, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the area of human genetics. It is not possible to purchase any accompanying tickets for non-healthcare professionals or children. Accompanying persons will have no access to any conference areas.
